Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of December 9-13 indicate that Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) will get an offer he can’t refuse from police commish, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).

Salem’s PD is severely short-staffed, and Jada will likely hope Shawn can return to his old post, now that he’s officially back in town. But could this lead to some drama, down the road?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Trouble In Paradise For Jafe

DOOL spoilers suggest that Shawn may mull the idea over for a bit next week but will eventually accept the position of becoming a Salem detective again. Could this bond Jada and Shawn? After all, Jada hooked up with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) while on the job!

Still, there seems to be trouble in paradise where the Jafe super couple is concerned. He’s not overly pleased that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) took his job from him after he was on hiatus, recovering from a stab wound in the back.

Getting hurt at the hands of Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) wasn’t exactly Rafe’s fault, so the demotion hit him hard – even though he was happy for Jada.

While he’s working for Black Patch now, this doesn’t mean he’s not bitter and may not grow a little resentment toward his new fiancé, who essentially snagged his job right from under his nose!

As Jada could have issues with Rafe, could she get a little closer to Shawn while the two work on cases together?

On the other side of things, Shawn is single. He and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) won’t be able to salvage their romance after their latest issues, which could leave him open to temptation.

Shawn and Rafe have always been friends, but if he starts developing feelings for Jada, and the two work late nights, or crazy hours, could they find themselves giving into emotion if the opportunity strikes? They may engage in a one-night stand or even an affair.

In the land of Salem, anything is possible, so if there’s a strong connection there, Jada could always give back that engagement ring and decide to pursue something more with Shawn!
