The Bold and the Beautiful’s Thorsten Kaye Slams ‘Needy Woman’ – Praises Taylor for Not Begging Like Brooke
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) recently made some controversial comments that have been blowing up social media. Kaye’s take on his character’s love life is drawing some criticism, so let’s talk about the whole situation.
In a recent interview with SOD, Thorsten Kaye answered some questions related to Ridge’s love triangle with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
B&B fans know Ridge went running back to Taylor after his relationship with Brooke fell apart, so now Taylor’s feeling hopeful about being together forever.
Brooke, on the other hand, isn’t ready to throw in the towel on her own Ridge romance.
As a result, Brooke has been delivering plea after plea to Ridge, who rejects her every time.
It’s clear that Ridge feels betrayed and has no interest in getting back together with Brooke right now.
That’s why Thorsten Kaye seemingly slammed Brooke a bit in this new interview.
Kaye shared what he appreciated about Rebecca Budig’s version of Taylor before offering a veiled Brooke insult.
“She’s not begging; she’s like, ‘This is me. Take it or leave it.’ There’s nothing less attractive than a needy woman, or a needy man,” Kaye insisted.
Of course, Brooke has been begging like crazy and indeed acts quite needy, so it seemed like Kaye was taking a jab at her.
Some fans also took issue with another part of the interview, which downplayed Taylor’s history now that Budig is in the role.
Here’s what Kaye had to say when asked why Ridge can’t truly quit Taylor.
“Because she fills a place in his heart that no one else can.
And this Taylor, the one that’s on stilts in front of me, has never slept with my brother [Thorne] or my dad [Eric], which is always nice,” Kaye said.
However, Kaye did acknowledge that it’s impossible to defend Ridge and all his waffling.
Ridge always seems to think he can bounce from woman to woman and that the other one will always be there waiting for him!
It’s surprising that Brooke and Taylor even still want Ridge at this point, but they’ll both continue to clash over him for the time being.
