Ridge Stumbles Upon Shocking Confession: Taylor Orders Steffy to Leave Finn and Reveals Luna Is His Daughter!

As footage of Bill and Hayley’s wedding goes viral on social media, the Duprees gather at the Fairmont Crest Country Club for a press conference that is supposed to settle their differences.
Nicole offers to talk about Dani from a psychiatric perspective, but Vernon is worried that people will call Dani crazy.
Vernon does his best to downplay what happened at the wedding, calmly explaining, “A gun belonging to my daughter Danielle that accidentally went off. Not a crime, just an unfortunate accident where no one was hurt.”
Vernon claims Dani didn’t plan on shooting anyone.
They ask why he pulled out the gun. He tells them that Dani shot the flowers, not them. She acknowledged her mistake but was in shock.
“We all saw the footage,” a reporter tells him. “It’s very obvious that your daughter intentionally pulled a gun on her ex-husband and his new wife, so why don’t you stop lying just to protect your family?”
Vernon says it’s “ridiculous” to suggest that Dani was trying to shoot Bill and Hayley on purpose. ,
Anita stands up when they ask Dani if she intended to kill them.
Anita takes the microphone to call the accusations “absurd.” Anita tries to shift the narrative by painting Bill and Hayley as backstabbing, instigating monsters, explaining that it was Bill who pushed Dani over the edge.
Anita tells them the story of how Hayley was a homewrecker, sleeping with Bill while pretending to be best friends with Bill and Dani’s daughter.
Sure, Dani crossed a line, but Bill pushed her over the line, she tells them. Vernon ends the conference, but Dani takes the floor.
“I overstepped my own boundaries and I want to apologize,” Dani tells the press, then apologizes to the staff and her parents. “You’ve been giving me the moon since I knew how to point it, and disappointing you is the worst punishment ever,” Dani tells Vernon and Anita.
Hayley isn’t thrilled that Bill wants to attend the press conference on their wedding night, but he insists he has to be there. (He explains that both their reputations are at stake, but she doesn’t care.
“I just married you, Bill,” she says. “I know you love me, and that’s part of why you have to deal with them, but what about how I feel? Please don’t leave me here alone.”
Women who beg rarely get what they want from Bill, but in this case he obliges… sort of. Hayley has asked him not to leave her alone, and he doesn’t; he takes her to the press conference, not even giving her time to change out of her wedding dress.
Bill takes the podium to inform reporters that Dani has displayed “a lot of illegal behavior” in the video, listing half a dozen offenses, including “making a terrorist threat.”
He also tells the press that Dani’s outburst at the wedding was just the latest in a string of harassment. “I’m out of patience,” he says. “This isn’t about me. I can take whatever Dani Dupree throws at me, but I’m not going to sit around sitting idly by while he abuses my wife.”
Dani feels understandably defeated after the press conference, but no one—least of all Vernon and Anita—expects what comes out of her mouth: “I meant what I said about taking responsibility. Dad, I want you to call the police.”
Soon, Officer Jenkins arrives and takes Dani’s statements and writes up an incident report. Naomi acts as her mother’s attorney. Vernon calmly tells Jenkins that he’s doing a great job.
Vernon casually mentions that he’s good friends with Police Chief Hawthorne (aka Jacob’s father) and that he’ll be sure to mention the cop’s good work the next time they play golf. Way to go, Grandpa. Way to go.
Bill is furious with Vernon for using his connections to get Dani out, calling him “nothing but a cold-blooded Washington operative.”
But Vernon still has a few words to share with Bill: “I hope you and your new wife got what you were looking for by doing this. Enough is enough, Bill. It’s time to call a truce with Dani so we can move on. That’s not a request. I’m telling you this has to stop.”
Meanwhile, Dani has run away and is searching for answers… at the bottom of a martini glass.
In her drunken devastation, Dani thinks back to the good times with Bill, especially Naomi’s wedding night. We see a Bill as different as night and day, this is a version of Bill we’re not used to. He even asks the minister to skip the “who gives this woman to this man” part of the ceremony, because he… respects women. Yeah, this is definitely not the Bill we’re used to.
He’s even less recognizable as he thanks Dani for all the
