Brooke’s Chat with Taylor Sparks Suspicion — and Will’s Forbidden Kiss with Electra Shakes Things Up

At the cliff house, Taylor tells Brooke that maybe she’s had it right all along. Maybe denying what her heart was telling her was what caused it to nearly fail. “Following your heart might be the only way to live, so I’m taking a page from Brooke Logan’s handbook and follow my heart where it leads me.” Brooke’s just curious, “Is your heart leading you to Ridge?” Taylor says that’s a very direct question. Brooke would like a direct answer. Taylor replies, “Yes. It is.”

At Forrester, Steffy tells Ridge how much it means for him to be on her side. He says he’ll always be on her side. Brooke is just being a mother and protecting her kids the same way Taylor protects her. Steffy says, “Alright.” She asks what’s going on with her dad and mom. They’ve been spending a lot of time together lately. “What’s your heart saying?” Ridge says he’s glad Taylor is home. Steffy goes on about her steady, calm energy and her kids getting to learn from their grandmother. It’s crazy to think of her mom as a grandmother. Ridge asks if she thinks she’s laying it on a little too thick. He admits he agrees with her 100%. Steffy says he should tell her mom that.

In the salon, Will tells Electra she should be one of the models. “I would definitely give that a like.” Electra thinks they should leave that to the professionals. Will gets a notification on his phone and says the new press release about the jewelry line is out. “And there you are.” Electra looks at her picture on his phone and seems rattled.

Will thinks Electra should be the face of the collection. Electra says that should be Ivy. “I’m just an assistant!” She’s happy working behind the scenes. Will shrugs. He’s just glad she’s sticking around. Electra’s glad she’s there too, “There’s a lot back home I want to get away from.” Will doesn’t mean to pry, but asks, “What are you talking about?”

He asks again. What’s back at home that she’s trying to get away from. Electra doesn’t want to think about the past. She’d rather focus on right here and right now. She’s looking forward to staying in one place for a while. Will says, “As long as that place is right here.” They look at jewelry samples and Will thinks they look great. Electra says Ivy’s talented and she barely had anything to do with it. Will picks one he thinks she had more input on and puts it on her wrist. “That one’s all you… and I think you should wear it in the photo shoot today.” Electra’s dismayed to hear of a photo shoot. “Oh, no, no, no.” She’s not comfortable in front of the camera. Will can’t believe someone so beautiful hasn’t been approached about modeling. Electra says she did it once… it wasn’t for her. Will’s still concerned. It sounds like she had it rough at home. Electra changes the subject to him.

In the main office, Steffy goes on about Ridge helping her mom. He ways he’d do anything for Taylor. Steffy says it was no small thing, “You showed mom your love. You healed her heart.” Ridge thinks he broke her heart… they went through a lot as a family. Steffy agrees. There’s not a day that goes by when she doesn’t think about her late twin Phoebe. She can’t imagine what he and her mother went through. Steffy marvels that her mother didn’t lay down and die, she persevered because of them. Ridge asks, “Are you saying I didn’t?” Steffy says he didn’t. He had Brooke. “I’m just stating a fact, dad. I’m not trying to punish you.” If she’s being honest, he did break her mom’s heart, but Brooke did too. She broke their family so many times.

At the cliff house, Brooke fumes, “So, you admit it. Your heart is leading you back to Ridge!” Taylor goes on about how she was prepared to die and all the thoughts that were going through her head. Brooke’s sorry she had to go through that. Taylor says Ridge didn’t let her give up; he made her want to fight. Brooke nods, “Ridge made you better.” Taylor says it feels like he truly saved her life. Brooke tells Taylor she’s glad she’s recovering. Taylor replies, “But you’d prefer if I kept my distance from Ridge.” Brooke knows he cares about her a great deal… Taylor finishes, “But he always comes back to you.” Brooke thinks he can move on now that she’s healed, “And so can you.” Taylor has a full life. Brooke says, “And you think you have Ridge too.” Taylor replies, “Yes. I have Ridge.”

In the salon, Electra wants to hear about Will’s life… was it all private jets and yachts. Will chuckles. That stuff is important to his dad, but he realized it doesn’t solve all of your problems. He mentions his parents’ messy split. “My dad left my mother for her sister.” Electra asks, “Brooke?” Will says yes, and explains how he came to go to boarding school. Now, it was time to come home. Electra’s flattered he shared a that with her. Will says she can tell him anything too. He promises not to judge her no matter what.

In the main office, Steffy insists she’s not throwing Brooke under the bus. Ridge says she can’t blame her for everything. Steffy can blame her for some of it. He’s partly responsible for her mom’s broken heart, but the pain and trauma is gone now… because of him and his love.

At the cliff house, Brooke reminds Taylor that she and Ridge are in a committed relationship. Taylor says when she says her heart is leading her back to Ridge, she means their connection. Brooke can’t deny they have that. She wants to be honest with Brooke and herself. She doesn’t need a man to fulfill her. “So, don’t worry, I’m not out to get Ridge back.” Brooke sizes her up with narrowed eyes.

In the salon, Will tells Electra he wasn’t sure he wanted to work there in the first place, but now he gets to come in every day and see her. She drops a ring, and Will kneels to pick it up, joking that this feels oddly familiar. He recalls their first meeting. He’d only just met her and all he wanted to do was just… Electra breathlessly asks, “What?” Will kisses her.
