Days of Our Lives Shocker: Casey Deidrick (Chad DiMera) Facing Serious Allegations — Assault and Interfering with 9-1-1 Call!
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) alum Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad DiMera) was arrested in Tennessee over the weekend after his girlfriend alleged that he not only assaulted her but also snatched the phone as she was trying to call 9-1-1.
As per TMZ, the actor was taken into police custody on Sunday, February 3, and was charged with domestic assault, as well as interference with an emergency call. He was placed in a Davidson County Sheriff’s jail and released later after a $2,500 bond was paid.

According to the warrant, Deidrick told the police he and his girlfriend got into a heated dispute at their home in Nashville, on the morning of February 3.

The actor got very upset when he thought she was recording him on her phone and grabbed the device from her.
In addition, Deidrick claimed his girlfriend wrapped her hands around her neck; however, the officers noted there was no evidence that this occurred.

Meanwhile, Deidrick’s gal pal told the police the couple got into a fight but denied recording him.
She also revealed to officers that she cowered in the corner of their kitchen with her phone, which is when the actor allegedly came up behind her, placed her in a bear hug, and ripped the device out of her hands.
This is when she demanded the return of her mobile so she could call 9-1-1, as she was fearful for her safety. As per her story, Deidrick only gave it back to her after she agreed to move out of their house that day.
As of this writing, the actor or his reps have yet to comment on his arrest.
In addition to his stint on Days, Deidrick also appeared in shows like Revolution, Glee, MTV’s Teen Wolf, Eye Candy, and In The Dark.
