Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope (Annika Noelle) have been at odds since Hope and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) sneakily stole Forrester Creations from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Eric (John McCook). While Brooke and Hope love each other, they’ve had quite a lot of tension.

Meanwhile, Steffy has tried to play matchmaker between her parents for years now. Ridge chose Brooke, and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) left Los Angeles for a time. When Taylor returned, she thought she was dying, only to be diagnosed with Broken Heart Syndrome. Ridge and Taylor grew closer as she worked to heal from her broken heart. Then, when Ridge called Hope a “bitch,” he and Brooke separated, opening things up for him and Taylor, which thrilled Steffy.

Carter recently redeemed himself by tearing up the papers and giving Forrester Creations back to the family. Of course, Hope was let go, which left her in a difficult situation.
