The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle’s Loyalty Test for Claire – Boyfriend’s Move Backfires

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a loyalty test for Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), but her boyfriend’s insecure move could backfire. Let’s talk about some trouble that may be brewing in Claire and Kyle’s romance.

As the week of February 17-21 kicks off, Claire will open up to Kyle about how much she wants Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to accept their relationship.

Kyle will point out that may not be possible and wonder if it’s going to be a deal-breaker if Victor remains against them.

Claire will assure Kyle that she makes her own romantic choices and that she won’t let Victor stand in their way. However, Kyle may start to wonder if that’s really the case.

Other Y&R spoilers say Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will call Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) out for being jealous of Kyle and Claire’s connection.

Despite Summer’s initial denial, she may ultimately come to see that Daniel is right.

That could lead to some soul-searching for Summer since she’ll make a difficult choice regarding Kyle later.

Summer may have an epiphany and realize she’s done fighting the old feelings that are bubbling up.

At some point in the coming episodes, Summer will determine that she wants to pursue a reunion with Kyle and put their family with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) back together.

That’s when the Kyle and Claire sabotage could begin!

It’s easy to see Summer trying to get in Kyle’s head and act like Victor’s disapproval is going to be a permanent problem.

Claire is still new to the Newman family and craves Victor’s blessing on a whole different level.

Despite Claire’s promise that she won’t let Victor hold her back from a future with Kyle, Summer may suspect Claire will bow down to Victor in the end.

Could that be why Kyle will put Claire through the loyalty test that’s brewing?

Kyle might resort to some trickery and hope he can prove that Claire will indeed choose him no matter what Victor thinks.

Unfortunately, Claire doesn’t like to be manipulated and may have a huge issue with whatever Kyle tries to pull.

It could leave Claire fuming over Kyle’s move and wondering if they trust each other as much as they think they do.

Claire may make some updates to her perspective when it comes to Kyle and worry this could mean bad news for their relationship.
