The Young and the Restless Spoilers Week of January 6: Nikki Stumbles Upon Ian’s Shocking Secret – Nate & Damian’s Dangerous Game of Deception!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of January 6-10 reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will contact his half-brother, Damian, and set up a meeting at the café. That’s where Damian – or at least the man currently believed to be him – will show up with questions.

It’s worth noting that Nathan Owens’ casting announcement didn’t specify that Damian was his character.

Likewise, Owens wasn’t referred to as Damian in 2025 preview info, so it’s possible there’s some deception going on here.

Is Owens’ character reinventing himself like The Count of Monte Cristo and using Damian’s name for some reason?

Could the real Damian have struck a deal with him and still be out there somewhere?

Even if Owens is indeed Damian, he’s got some tricks up his sleeve.

We’re dealing with someone who’s going to be a bit of a troublemaker, but Nate will bring his own tricks to the table through his bogus story.

Once this man presumably introduces himself as Damian, he’ll sit down with Nate and suggest it’s not every day he gets a cold call offering him a job – let alone an exec flying out to meet him.

Nate will insist that when he sees someone he likes, he doesn’t waste time.

This seems like a bad way to start off a relationship with someone who already has trust issues, but Nate will move forward with his plan anyway.

Meanwhile, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will move captive Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) from her motel room and hide her somewhere else. It looks like Sharon might end up back in the sewer system or perhaps a dirty basement.

“You should be grateful you’re not at the bottom of the river – at least not yet,” Jordan tells an unconscious Sharon in Y&R’s weekly preview video.

At the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get a shock after she hears voices and comes downstairs.

It turns out Nikki will come face to face with Ian Ward (Ray Wise), so she’ll gasp and demand to know “what the hell” he’s doing there.

This horrifying discovery will lead to more terrible news since Nikki will get updates on Ian’s prison release and his decision to resurface in Genoa City.

Although Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will warn Ian to leave town or pay the price, Ian will stick around anyway.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will make some unsettling predictions about Ian’s future, but Ian won’t listen – and that’s going to cost him down the road!
